1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file stored by a website through your browser. Session cookies ordinarily expire when the browser closes; persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry or deletion. Similar technologies include local storage, security tokens and browser identifiers used to maintain a session or remember a setting.
2. Technologies we currently use
Netcloud24 currently uses essential technologies required to operate and secure the website and WHMCS customer portal. Their exact names and duration may change when the platform or security configuration is updated, but their functions include:
- Session and authentication: maintaining a secure session, recognizing a signed-in user and supporting account-security controls;
- Shopping cart and checkout: remembering selected products, configurations, currency and progress through an order;
- Security and fraud prevention: detecting suspicious requests, preventing cross-site request forgery, limiting automated abuse and supporting CAPTCHA or payment verification;
- Preferences: remembering language, currency or interface choices; and
- Payment workflow: allowing the selected payment provider to securely process a transaction and meet fraud, security and regulatory requirements.
3. Essential and optional cookies
Essential cookies are necessary for functions you request and for the security and integrity of the service. Blocking them may prevent account creation, login, cart operation, checkout, payment, support or other portal functions.
Netcloud24 does not currently enable optional advertising or behavioural-analytics cookies in the WHMCS customer area. If we introduce non-essential tracking, we will update this Policy and implement any notice or consent control required before activating it.
4. Third parties
Payment processors, CAPTCHA or fraud-prevention services and other features you choose to use may set or read their own cookies. Those providers act under their own privacy and cookie terms for processing they independently determine. We limit integrations to those reasonably needed for the relevant function.
5. Managing cookies
Most browsers allow you to view, delete and block cookies, clear site data, restrict third-party cookies or configure deletion on exit. Browser controls vary by product and device. Removing cookies may sign you out, empty a cart, reset preferences or require a new security verification.
Because essential cookies support security and requested functionality, the website may not offer an “accept/reject” banner where only essential technologies are active. This does not prevent you from using browser controls.
6. Retention and changes
Session technologies generally expire at logout, session expiry or browser closure, subject to browser behaviour. Persistent preferences and security records remain only for their configured period or until removed. Server-side records associated with a cookie may be retained separately for security, transaction, support or legal purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
